Want to look up a word? Just type it in where it says "Enter Word."

Hint: the typed-in word can be Hawaiian or English.

Kirundi is a Bantu language spoken by some 6 million people in Burundi and adjacent parts of Tanzania and Congo-Kinshasa, as well as in Uganda. 84% of the speakers are Hutu, 15% are Tutsi and 1% are Twa.

Luhya is a group of Bantu languages spoken in the western part of Kenya by the Luhya people residing between Lake Victoria, Uganda and Mount Elgon. The Luhya area extends into Uganda, where closely related languages like Masaba and Nyole are found.

Georgian Language Distance Learning Course designed for English speaking absolute beginners to develop the ability to communicate in Georgian with other Georgian speakers. Integrates the skills of listening to, speaking and reading Georgian, and also to a lesser extent writing.

It teaches about nouns and verbs, adjectives and adverbs, and much more. By the end of the course, students will have a good basic command and understanding of written and spoken Georgian.

The course is supplemented by a variety of oral (audio) and written material. It also is equipped with Tool Kit that works under MS ACCESS 2000. It will allow students to practice in different issues (alphabet, grammar etc.) and to take exams and to send exam “paper” automatically via Internet to a tutor. Results will be uploaded onto central computer system and reviewed by a tutor. The MS ACCESS tool is not available for Macintosh users. Thus, Macintosh users should do their exercises and exams in writing or printing using word processor but not automated system which checks the work and provides with results and advice instantly. The Macintosh users should send their work by Email to their tutor, while PC users will have less communications with their tutor. Write us if you need Windows XP and Office XP.

Korean is spoken in both North and South Korea by about 65 million people. There are also about 2 million speakers in China, 700,000 in Japan, and 600,000 in the United States.
Korean's linguistic affiliation is uncertain, though in its grammatical structure it is most similar to Japanese. Starting from its foundation MIST strives to complete CIS membership procedures. In 2001 MIST has started processes of CIS accreditation from position of Prospective Membership. After taking a very successful Preliminary Visit by CIS Accreditation Officers MIST became a ''Regular Member of CIS''. MIST continues processes for the ''Full Accredited School'' position.

MIST has started education in its well equipped building in Rr. Elbasanit Tre Vellezerit Kondi. Then at the beginning of 2005-06 Academic Year MIST has moved to its new building which is known as Ish Shkola Partise in Rr. Durres.

Foley’s school was founded in 1970 by Ward and Pat Foley. The school was originally established in Famagusta – the school’s shirt monogram fgs actually stands for Famagusta Grammar School, not Foley’s! By 1974, the school was well established with about 250 pupils, all at secondary level. However, you will recognise the significance of that year – 1974. Disaster struck and the Foley’s and most of their pupils were forced to evacuate Famagusta and the school overnight.

After several months camping in Dhekhelia, hoping to return, it became apparent that this would not be possible and the family moved to Limassol. Here they managed to gather together some of their former pupils and began re-establishing the school. They were fortunate to find the current school building, which had originally been constructed for the RAF, and Limassol Grammar and Junior School was born. Over the years, the school became known as “Foley’s� and in recent times this has become the school’s official name.

We now have around 440 pupils across the whole age range (4-18 years old). An unusual feature is that we are all together on the same site and this contributes to a family atmosphere.

Finnish School is an online tool to help you learn the Finnish language.
How does it work?
It primarily works as a vocabulary builder. Imagine taking all your flashcards and making them into a fun online game. You will be given 20-25 words in either Finnish or English. At first you can use multiple choice. Once you're comfortable with that you type in the word directly. And once you're comfortable with that you take a quiz on those words and move on to a new set of words.
How many vocabulary words are there?
Currently there are over 4,600 Finnish words. More are always being added.
Finnish School tracks your progress
The online tool keeps track of your progress and remembers which word sets you've completed. Login from any computer and continue from where you left off.
Why do I need to sign-up?
For two reasons: Finnish School needs to know who you are so it can remember which word sets you've completed. Secondly, in case you forgot your username/password, it can e-mail it to you.
I don't like giving away my e-mail address
I hate giving mine away too, but I can promise that your e-mail address and account info will NEVER EVER leave Finnish School.
Does this cost anything?
