General English – Intensive one and a half month or four month courses. Six levels are offered, from beginner to advanced. Courses focus on all four main skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening.

English for Communication – Two four month modules geared towards people who would like to overcome the language barrier and would like plenty of opportunity to practise and improve their spoken English. These courses are team taught by a Bulgarian teacher as well as a native speaker.

External Programs were opened in 1997, in response to the social interest in the American College of Sofia. These programs are offered to the broad public outside the College. The Soros Language School was founded in 1996 under the auspices of the Open Society Fund Bosnia Herzegovina. After 3 years we became independent and are now a non-profit organization.
