External Programs were opened in 1997, in response to the social interest in the American College of Sofia. These programs are offered to the broad public outside the College. They consist of a wide range of courses in English, TOEFL (iBT) preparation courses and Bulgarian for non-native speakers. The Soros Language School was founded in 1996 under the auspices of the Open Society Fund Bosnia Herzegovina. After 3 years we became independent and are now a non-profit organization. We now have 8 classrooms and 8 full time teachers. We teach general English to Adults, younger learners, as well as preparation for the TOEFL exam. THE CLASSES

The classes take place in our modern-equipped classrooms in the centre of Vienna instead of or in the case of company courses on site. They speak English from the first hour. THE KURSSYSTEM
