The English Study Tours program was created by a group of talented ESL instructors who recognized, after years of teaching, that ESL students were learning English faster when they participated in task-oriented exercises in real life situations with real native speakers.

We have since found that by combining exciting real life English study excursions with professional language training sessions, that students learn faster because they are excited about learning, and in a more 'urgent' communications situation where they litterally have to get it right if they are to make themselves understood.

We have also found through experience that the 7 to 10-person group is the optimal student-teacher ratio in this kind of learning environment. Schools traditionally have been crowding 14 or more students into one group, making it difficult to monitor class progress.

English Study Tours is 100% teacher administered which allows us to be more spontaneous and flexible in designing curriculum, class design and activity-based training to suit the needs of our students in specific situations.
