Dunedin - English Language Matters
The school was founded by Sharron Verberne-Heazlewood and her husband Han Verberne – shown at left. Sharron is a director and the principal of the school. She takes an active interest in all students at the school. Han, a registered psychologist, is the student welfare officer and a director of the school. Located in the heart of Dunedin, on the South Island of New Zealand (view location maps), English Language Matters is a short walk to a variety of cafes and restaurants, the world-class Dunedin Public Art Gallery and Dunedin Public Library, dealer art galleries, movie cinemas, shops and boutique jewellery and clothing stores. The school is located in a modern eight-storey building and occupies the second floor. The Immigration Department is on the sixth floor, making visa applications a stress-free experience.
