Beijing-U.S.A. College of English was established in 1993 and it was approved by Beijing Municipal Commission of Education. The college is an international, modern and comprehensive non-profit full-time institution which runs with the characteristics of foreign languages and professional skills education.

The college now has nearly 6,800 students, 400 teachers with tenures of “associate professor�? and “professor�? accounting for over 75 percent of the faculty and over 40 full-time foreign teachers，which compare well with one of the top institutions among the colleges at similar levels in Beijing.

Beijing–U.S.A. College of English has 6 academic sub-schools: Business School, School of Translation & Interpretation, School of International Departments, School of Literature & Science, International School and Art School with more than 50 majors of regular college courses and occupational training, including literature, laws, technology, engineering, economics, management and arts etc.
