Learning (American) English involves understanding American culture. If you enjoy and
understand American culture, you will enjoy and quickly improve your English. For this
reason, we integrate fun events, activities & exciting excursions as part of the
Advance program:

� Advance's students take (optional) camping trips to Yosemite, Sequoia, Kings
Canyon, Arches, Grand Canyon, Bryce, and Point Reyes National Seashore.

� Advance loves to celebrate the holidays, with a Thanksgiving Feast, a Halloween
Costume Party, a Christmas Gift Exchange and a New Year's Bash!

� Advance lives for travel. We offer weekend excursions, such as skiing/snowboarding
(winter) & water skiing (summer) at Lake Tahoe, hiking in Yosemite National Park,
camping trips to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Los Angeles, Death Valley, Pt. Reyes
National Seashore, and that's just the beginning.

� Advance is into fitness. We offer sporting activities with all the equipment available,
such as soccer, volleyball, indoor rock climbing, kickball and badminton.

� Advance has ESL Workshops, Tutoring, Academic Counseling, a Book Club, a
Movie Club, Evening Events, Conversation Classes, and more
